20 Christmas in July Crafts! Christmas in July is a thing! Do you celebrate Christmas in July? Christmas below the equator is during the Summer months, so Christmas in July was born to give the southern hemisphere a "Winter" Christmas. Some people go all out and give gifts and decorate. In the northern hemisphere, we typically don't celebrate it or we use it as a way to get ahead of the busy schedule of the Winter holiday. Some people get upset because retail stores get their Christmas stuff out mid June so that it's ready for Christmas in July. Like they are just trying to make money...and while that's still probably true, I love being able to buy holiday and seasonal items this time of year so I can work smarter and ahead of the rush. Seriously, July is an awesome time to knock out a few holiday crafts so you can just sit back and watch Hallmark Holiday movies and cuddle up during December. Get those Christmas cards made and your newsletter written up...leaving a little space to fill in later. Get some new ornaments made, try a new recipe, do some holiday crafts, give the kids a fun activity to do during Summer break to help you get ready for the Christmas season. Trust me, your future self will thank you. Here's a list of 20 awesome crafts to make while it's warm and sunny so you are ready for the holiday rush--in a very "unrushed" relaxed way.
