Doctor Who Inspired: Tardis Damask Pattern Scarf

Doctor Who Inspired: Tardis Damask Pattern Scarf My daughter just turned 13!  She is a teenager! I love to see how much she's grown up on my blog. She is so patient.  I am constantly making her model for me and my silly creations. She is funny and artistic.  I love her!    I designed a Tardis Damask scarf! On  Vida (they have high quality base products, artists add their work so that people can purchase their unique items...I was sent one of my scarves to review, I had to pay for the shipping, about $10.  Worth it.) ~ I designed the Tardis damask print myself and Vida does the work making it a scarf.  It is modal and super soft. It's comfortable and perfect for Spring, Fall and Winter Weather... even Summer if you live somewhere cool enough! ~ I love Geek Chic, I love sporting my geekery and just seeing who notices that it's really a Doctor Who inspired piece! I also love things that not everyone else in the world has or can...

Crystal Knob Necklace Holder!

Crystal Knob Necklace Holder! This is a project that helped me with my PHD.    Hahaha, right!? This necklace holder was on my "to-do" list for a year. I am fortunate enough to be an Ambassador for Plaid, which means they send me  products to use on a regular basis.  No other compensation, but I love trying all these fun new supplies! I also had a bunch of different knobs and several sparkly crystal knobs!  I did a quick paint job on the wood. And chalk paint is a dream because it dries so fast!  I spaced out the knobs and then marked them with a pencil.  Then used a drill and bit slightly larger than the machine screw that comes with the knobs.  Then I twisted all the knobs on, exactly where I wanted them! I drilled 2 other ho...

Burnout Jersey Infinity Scarf!

Burnout Jersey Infinity Scarf!  This was a super simple project, just one line of stitching! I used a remnant of material.  1 yard by 60 inches. Fold fabric in half, the "right" sides together...  Fold along the 1 yard edge, just a straight stitch. Back-stitching at each ends.  Done.  No hems or sewing edges!  Just wrap, twist, wear! Can even be worn on the head like a hood! Check out these other infinity scarfs too!
