Police Box TARDIS Tote Bag!

 Police Box TARDIS Tote Bag! It's another fabulous Doctor Who week here at Doodlecraft. If it's your first time stopping in...let me warn you, we are huge Doctor Who fans! There's lots of Doctor Who geekery crafts and DIY here ! My very talented daughter designed this TARDIS. I asked for a "fat, chubby and slightly skewampus cartoony version"  I'd say she did amazing with this little guy!  It reminds me of the adorable BB8 she designed too ! I altered it into a line drawing in Photoshop and then imported it into Silhouette Studio. Traced the outline, reversed it and then cut-- full tutorial here. I cut it out of blue flocked heat transfer vinyl.  Weeded out the excess vinyl and then place it face down on the tote. I got these from Oriental Trading. Ninja Star Sugar Cookies!

Ninja Star Sugar Cookies! Perfect for a Ninja Party! Let's get started! Whip up some sugar cookies. These ones are good and don't change shape when cooked. Perfect for cut-out cookies! 2 cups all-purpose flour, plus more for rolling   1/2 teaspoon baking powder   1/4 teaspoon salt   1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, room temperature   1 cup granulated sugar   1 large egg   1 teaspoon vanilla extract Mix, separate into 2 balls...press into disks...and place in a zip close bag  and set in the fridge for 2 hours...or the freezer for about 20 minutes. Then remove, roll out on floured surface and bake 325 for about 12 minutes. Place the cookies directly on the mat, that fits in your baking sheet... and bake...mine needed 11 minutes. Just when the edges are crispy. You could do less and have a chewier cookie, if that's your thing. Let them cool completel...
