Tri-Force Pendant Necklace!

Tri-Force Pendant Necklace! Legend of Zelda, Adventures of Link! My second favorite video game series ever...do you know my first fav? I used Yellow and Black polymer clay... Just rolled it out and rolled it 1/8" thick. I cut a triangle.  Then rolled a thin layer of black...  Cut a smaller triangle for the center...  And then set the entire thing on a layer of black and trimmed it about 1/8" border. Punched a hole in the top with a straw and then baked it for 15 minutes in a 275* oven.  Then just add a chain and save the princess! Totally geek chic! Heart Container Necklace! And these Heart Container Card Love Notes! Or pick up an Ocarina just like Link's!   This post published on Doodlecraft first

Legend of Zelda Heart Container Necklace!

Legend of Zelda Heart Container Necklace! I love old school Nintendo games. Among my favorites were Legend of Zelda and The Adventures of Link! Who doesn't love these little pixelated heart containers? I loved finding them hidden on the game.  Just right click to save off the hearts.  Now print them off on White Shrink plastic so they are around 3 inches wide. Grafix Shrink Film, Printable, White Inkjet, 6-Pack Cut them out with a slight border edge... Punch holes on either side in the heart containers. Bake in the oven according to shrink plastic directions. About 3 minutes in a 350* oven. Watch the plastic curl up and then flatten out. Then it's done.  Remove it and let cool. Next, I used some chain and a clasp and 4 jump rings. Attach the chain to the clasp. It's a perfect necklace. Unhook the chain links at the center of the necklace and attach the heart containers with the other 2 jump rings!  Easy! Rock that old sc...

Legend of Zelda Heart Containers Love Notes!

Legend of Zelda Heart Containers Love Notes! I love the old school Nintendo one...you know... this one:  Absolutely loved this game! I know where all the secret rocks, bushes and trapdoors are. I love finding that little fairy! And I love finding heart containers! Well you start out with only 3...and every hit takes away half of a heart!  Here's the printable I designed. Just right click to save off...print out in color...I printed onto cardstock...cut page into 4ths... and trim the edges down to 4 x 5.25"  I use a paper chopper that I heart heart heart. Then just tape the heart container pic to a half sheet of black cardstock. (5.5 x 4.25" when folded in half)  I taped the edges and an X in the center...slight overkill, but those hearts aren't going anywhere.  Place on center of card.  Gives it a 1/4" thick border. Looks awesome! Now write on it with a silver or gold pen and send it to someone! The perfect love note...
