Chocolate Cake Sprinkle Petit Fours

Chocolate Cake Sprinkle Petit Fours Petit Fours are tiny foods, translates to mean "tiny oven" Anyway, they are adorable little treats that are perfect for a Tea Party or wedding.  Here's a quick video to show you how fun and simple this is! You will need a cake, baked and frozen. Sprinkles Frosting (I used homemade buttercream ) Wide Piping tip and bag Cut your frozen cake into 1 inch squares. Cut the top off the cake so it is about 3/4 and inch tall.  Place sprinkles in a shallow tray.  Pipe a wide strip of frosting right on top of the sprinkles It only needs to go around the perimeter of the cake, so about 4 inches long.  Roll the edges of your frozen cake right on the frosting. The sprinkles pick up and make the edges look so adorable!  Then you can pipe a little frosting on the top and add a decoration like a rose or a treat!  They are adorable! Easy to serve and fun to eat! This...

Mini Crepe Cakes!

Mini Crepe Cakes! They are as yummy as they are adorable!  My sister in law had a party with a Crepe Bar! There were all the fixings for sweet and savory crepes! She sent me home with some leftovers.  :)  I used my circle cookie cutters to cut circles all the same size.  Then layered the custard and crepes on a darling mini cupcake stand. I had this bakers custard from my sister, but if I was making them again, I would use instant pudding! Easy!  Place in the freezer for a few minutes...  Then cover with Hot Fudge sauce!  And enjoy!  Or cream and a strawberry!  I've also made chocolate crepes and cream to make a giant crepe cake!  Same idea, just don't cut down the crepes!  Each slice was a lovely zebra pattern!  So good! Easy crepes: 1 Cup Flour 1/2 Cup Water 2 Eggs 1/2 Cup Milk 1/4 Teaspoon Salt 2 Tablespoons Melted Butter Cook on griddle like super thin pancakes! T...
