Leather Archery Bracers!

Leather Archery Bracers!  This little guy wanted some bracers for a long time and is thrilled to finally have some! They are great for costumes or cosplay. Great for archery too!  We used a piece of paper to trace out a pattern for his arm. Then cut it out of soft buttery leather.  Then used a pencil to draw where the elastics would lace up.  And lined it up with the other side.  Here's the shape and the markings.  Then punched a hole where the markings were.  And used black 1/4" elastic to lace them up like shoes.  Then they are easy to slide on and off! Perfection! Bracers that Legolas of the Woodland Realm would be proud of! Could be made of faux leather too! The elastic laces are the key to success here! This post published on Doodlecraft first
