How to Wrap an Open Box: Creative Gift Wrapping!

How to Wrap an Open Box: Creative Gift Wrapping! Here's how to wrap an open box! This time of year we need boxes for gift wrapping, but the items don't always fit inside. This is a creative alternative for a basket too--compostable at that!  Wrap an open box with fabulous and festive wrapping paper and then fill the box with all the gifts, treats and goodies. Creative gift wrapping is my favorite thing--I am not great at wrapping gifts but I love to do it anyway. This is a great way to wrap something that you want visible, is too big for the box you own, or just to show off your amazing gift giving in a gift box style.   Works great for bringing dinner over to a family too...just wrap the open box so it looks much prettier than just a box, but they don't have to return it.   Supplies Needed to Wrap an Open Box: affiliate links 1 Cardboard Box (with the top flaps cut off) Wrapping Paper (this double sided paper is beautiful!) Chocolate Dipped Dessert Bowls!

Chocolate Dipped Dessert Bowls! These are so easy to make and a big hit at any event! You will need: Dipping chocolate Waterballoons  Fill the waterballoons with air. Yes, this will feel like it's going to burst your cheeks! Try to make them all about the same size. Put a drop of chocolate on a baking mat.  Dip the base of the balloon in the dipping chocolate, being careful that it's not too hot to pop the balloon.  Dip and roll the balloon in about half way and then place it on the drop.  Just like so. Let it chill.  Place in the fridge for about 20 minutes or until very firm.  Remove and pop the balloons. Carefully pull the balloon out completely.  Leaving just a hollow chocolate shell. (note: do not do this technique if people are allergic to latex)  Fill with ice cream, mousse, cream and fruit or whatever else you can think of! They are adorable, unique and delightful! Perfect for a lovely tea par...
