Homemade Wassail Non-Alcoholic Recipe with Mulling Spices

I was sent product to use in this post from Raw Spice Bar.   All opinions are my own. Homemade Wassail Non-Alcoholic Recipe with Mulling Spices This warm, cinnamon/spicy cider citrus drink...Wassail is delightful on a cold winter evening.  Perfect drink for a crowd too.  It's full of rich flavors and tones, and I love it's soothing power on my throat.  Lots of recipes out there are spiked with alcohol, but this is an all age appropriate version.  The smell is magical and is the perfect way to make the house smell like the holidays. In a Slow Cooker: 8 cups of Apple Juice 2 cups of Orange Juice 1/3 cup of Lemon Juice 5 Cinnamon Sticks 2 Tablespoons of Raw Spice Bar's Mulling Spices ~ Okay, just got word that Raw Spice Bar is no longer offering the Mulling Spices (frowny face)...but they have tons of other spices that are sensational and I'll be sharing a few more in upcoming posts. Chocolate Truffle Cookies! 3 Ways!

Chocolate Truffle Cookies!  3 Ways! These are so yummy and taste like chocolate truffles! My 12 year old daughter adjusted this recipe on her own and made divine little cookies! They would look pretty with some powdered sugar sprinkled on them too!  Subtle variations make this dessert a crowd pleaser for any occasion! Mix the ingredients. The dough will be stiff and kind of lumpy looking.  Just press into balls and line on cookie sheet.  Bake in the oven for 10 minutes at 350*  Let cool and serve. Perfect for some Christmas baking!  Um, and sandwiched with Nutellais a great little Whoopie pie! Or any kind of frosting! Here's the recipe: 1 1/4 cup flour 1/2 cup cocoa powder 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1/4 teaspoon baking powder 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 egg 1/2 cup butter 1 cup white sugar Mix butter and sugar until creamy. Add egg, mix. Add dry ingredients, mix. It will be dry but able to press together to form bal...

Candy Christmas Wreath!

Candy Christmas Wreath!  This is such a beautiful treat! It's fast to make and perfect for parties! It's yummy and soft! Similar to rice crispy's, but with corn flakes!  You will need: 10 cups of corn flakes 1 stick of butter 16 oz of marshmallows (fresh otherwise it won't be soft) Green food coloring Red Hot candies Like these ones!  Melt the butter and marshmallows in a non stick sauce pan. Don't be tempted to use that bag of sticky marshmallows that was stuffed in the cupboard since summer campouts...it will effect  how they cook and make the wreath too crunchy! (Don't ask how I know that!)  Once melted add drops of green food coloring and stir well. Then add the 10 cups of corn flakes and mix well.  Sprinkle some red hots in the base of a bundt pan. No need to grease, since we've already added butter!  Gently press the mixture into the bundt...careful not to crunch the flakes.  Flip over...
