Doctor Who Tardis and Weeping Angel Boutique Bow!

Doctor Who Tardis and Weeping Angel Boutique Bow!  Perfect Geekery Flair!  Geek Chic!  Make a beautiful Boutique bow with something blue!  Hot glue is amazing! To make the TARDIS bow center, I used my Doctor Who mold that I used here for Chocolates . Fill up the mold with hot glue... (Don't have a mold???  Make your own tutorial here! )  Let it cool  Pull it out! Perfectly formed! Spray paint, then add details with acrylic paint! (*spoilers* many more fun bows to come!) Ready to top some fancy boutique bows!    Hot glued right on the top of the bow!  Now...How to make that cute bow??? Let's start simple.  Like this Weeping Angel Bow.  Zig zag some ribbon like an accordian...so there are 4 loops...2 on each side.  Pinch and gather the ribbon in the center. Pinch and hold in place. Use some thread and wrap the center about 20 times around. Then tie it off tight and...

Jewel Soaps!

I think soap is so fun! It's a great gift too, because everyone uses soap...or they should... and it doesn't take up extra space or make clutter. And Jewel soaps are adorable too!   I was sent Stephenson's Melt and Pour soap base . This one is free of Sodium Lauryl Sulfate.   Yay...no harmful chemicals!  I used some neon soap coloring (the same I used for Rainbow Soap )  Just as easy as melting the soap base for 30 seconds... adding some drops of color and mixing!  Poured into my jewel mold and cooled. This cools so fast!  Pop them out and admire the cuteness! Love! Check out my other soaps too! Peppermint Orange and Oat Citronella Bug Repellant Soap Neon Rainbow Soap! Doctor Who Chocolates!

This is the perfect chocolate mold! It's perfect...not too delicate and a thin layer...like Andes mints. And I have only seen it offered through Lakeland in the UK... so it's about $50 to have it shipped to the US.  I melted chocolate  Poured it in the molds...tapped the mold  So the chocolate would settle  Waited for the chocolate to harden and popped them out!  Perfect for a little party! Cookie Dough Truffles are awesome too! And Peanut Butter Truffles! This post published on Doodlecraft first

Homemade Citronella and Cinnamon Bug Repellant Soap!

Homemade Citronella and Cinnamon Soap! Smells good and works as a bug repellant! I used melt and pour soap base...and warmed it up to melt it.  Then I added about 8 drops of on guard essential oils and 12 of citronella. That way this will work as a simple bug repellant.  Then I sprinkled in some cinnamon. It smells great and actually works to repel bugs too!  Stirred it up.  I used this silicone tray from Wholeport (You need to use a tray dedicated to soaps, lotions, crayons, plaster and other non-edible items) Put a tray under it for stability...  I sprinkled  a few oats for exfoliating in the mold and then Poured in the mixture. Let it sit for a few while it cooled. And then popped them right out! And before packaging them I had them sitting out...to make sure no one decided they were food...I added a note! I know we will be using these all summer long! This post published on Doodlecraft first ...
