Harry Potter Butterbeer Bar: Italian Soda/Dirty Drinks with Torani!

Use Torani syrups to create the perfect butterbeer, using butterscotch or butter rum
Harry Potter Butterbeer Italian Soda with Torani!
One of the best sounding items from Harry Potter is Butterbeer...it's a creamy, delightful dessert drink--that the Hogwarts crew cannot get enough of!  There's a million ways to make it, some more complicated than others...but I'm going to show you the Italian Soda/Dirty Drink version.  It's so simple and just takes 3 ingredients...all non-alcoholic.
You will need:
Torani Syrup in Butter Rum or Butterscotch
(I was not compensated for these syrups, I bought them myself)
Cream Soda
Half & Half
We tested the Butter Rum and the Butterscotch.  4 out of 5 of us prefer the Butter Rum.  Butterscotch has a very sweet flavor with a sweet beverage.  Butter Rum has a deeper undertone.  So we pick the Butter Rum, but maybe let your guests decide!
Add 1 pump of syrup
7-8 ounces of Cream Soda
1 Tablespoon of half & half
The half in half swirls and does a little dance before clouding the drink and making it creamy.
This is by far the simplest Butterbeer recipe out there!  This is a great soda bar for a Harry Potter movie night party or for the release of the next Fantastic Beasts movie in November!  Serve it with some chocolate frogs or Bertie Bots every flavor beans.
Come back tomorrow for the full mini party!

Then close the ends of the ribbon off:
Add the next layer of the ribbon:
Draw lines connecting the ribbon layers:
Next draw the ends of the ribbon as the next layer "step":

Harry Potter Hogwarts Feast Recipes with Hamilton Beach Slow Cooker!

The magic of Hogwarts isn't the moving staircases, the trolls in the dungeon, the 3 headed dog guarding a trap door, the live photographs...it's the Great Hall and the amazing food!  Am I right!?  The never ending piles and spreads of food.  Everything you can imagine and could possibly want.
You'll notice if you watch the shows closely, there's hardly any green veggies.  There's no rice, pasta or carb filler.  It's just the good stuff.  Piles of chicken legs and baskets of buttery corn!  This is truly why everyone wants their Hogwarts acceptance letter.
You know you would have been just like Ron, 2 hands--2 chicken legs!
This Hogwarts nostalgia makes this Back-to-School with Hamilton Beach post super timely!  Hamilton Beach sent me this amazing Slow Cooker and carrying caddy.  The best part about this slow cooker is that it can make a giant Hogwarts feast!
You will need:
8 Chicken Legs
1/2 pound of baby carrots
3 large potatoes
1 large onion
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
Sliced Mushrooms
(Corn on the cob or Rolls optional)
Place the chicken in the center of the slow cooker.  Dump baby carrots on one side and chunky diced potatoes on the other side.  Thickly slice the onion and put it on top of the potatoes.  Then add 1/4 cup of Worcestershire sauce and cover with the lid.
Set the slow cooker on low and set to 6 hours.  Set it and forget it!

After 6 hours, everything is cooked beautifully without stirring a single time!  You can check the meat with the digital thermometer probe right through the top of the lid, without opening it.  Can't get to it right when the timer goes off?...not to worry, this slow cooker automatically switches to the "Keep Warm" setting.
~
However, the chicken is not crisp...
If you are a crispy chicken person, like me, place the chicken legs on a baking sheet and broil on high for 5 minutes or until golden and crispy.
While those legs are broiling, add a cup of mushroom slices to the top of the veggies in the slow cooker and cover again.  Let the mushrooms steam for 5 minutes or so.
Until they are soft and ready to eat.
Boil corn and butter rolls and serve up this fancy feast!
This was so yummy...the chicken and the veggies were cooked to perfection!
The perfect Back-to-Hogwarts-School Feast!  Save for later!
Dining like Harry Potter is what all the true fans really want to do
