Handmade Gifts for Star Wars Mandalorian Baby Yoda Fan!
Handmade gifts are my favorite part of the holidays! Most of the time I do customized gifts or add things to store bought things. This fabulous gift basket idea is perfect for anyone that loves the Star Wars Mandalorian on Disney Plus.
Um, do you love the Mandalorian? I totally do! I am totally in love with it! This is the perfect gift basket for me!
Some parts are store bought goodies and some are handmade touches for the perfect combination of a well thought gift.
By adding handmade elements, you think about the recipient more and it makes the gift giving holiday more special. So pick the Mandalorian fan in your life and make them a gift basket!

This cute mug is perfect for anyone really...but if you've seen some cute Baby Yoda memes, you'll know he likes Hot Choccy.

Make a mug using Cricut Infusible Ink--it's easy to do, without a heat press too! Check out this post for all the details, plus how to avoid the fails that I ran into.
Supplies Needed for Cricut Infusible Ink Mug:
Cricut Brayer
Oven
Step 1: Cut Infusible Ink
Begin by cutting out the desired text with the Cricut machine and Infusible Ink. Place the Infusible ink transfer with the ink side up and mirror the image.
Make your mug say anything you want! There's lots of fabulous images in Cricut Design Space of the Mandalorian and cute little baby yoda! I am sure you'll find several you absolutely love.

Step 2: Weed Transfer
Now weed out the excess Cricut Infusible Ink transfer material.
Use your fingers and peel it like a sticker. Don't use the standard Cricut hook tool, it can poke the ink and make dots on the transfer sheet that will show up with heat.
Step 3: Place on Mug
Now place the transfer on the Sublimation Mug. Sublimation mugs have a special coating on them that makes the ink transfer, regular mugs will not work.
Step 4: Heat Tape and Wrap
Use the heat resistant tape and tack it around the transfer. Then wrap the silicone wrap around the mug and lock it in place.
Then bake in a heated oven at 400* for 15 minutes. Place on a baking sheet. Don't use a toaster oven like I did...check out this post to see the fails.
This cute mug filled with hot chocolate or a Starbucks gift card would make a great gift for a teacher, friend or neighbor. But let's keep going and turn it into an entire basket!

I love the insert cards made with the Cricut Joy. I made this one using the Cricut Maker.
It's a breeze to add the scoring wheel, then cut the card out in just a couple minutes. Then insert a sturdy but shiny piece of paper for the perfect contrasting card, worthy of a Mando fan.
The silhouette image for the Mandalorian logo is on this post for a Mandalorian Party that I threw not too long ago.
Search for "insert card" on Cricut Design Space and pick a folded card with the corners you like. Then import the Mando symbol and attach the image with the card. Then score and cut it out of cardstock.
Fill the mug with candy! Write "This is the Way" inside the card! Roll up the baby yoda stocking and stuff them all inside a wire basket from the dollar store.
Add some crinkle paper for basket filler and wrap it up in a big cellophane bag for the perfect Mandalorian themed gift basket. Perfect for Friday Movie nights (watching Season 2 of the Mandalorian on Disney+) or as a fabulous Christmas gift.
Oh my, I love that little baby Yoda! I have looked at every merch toy possible and can't find anything that is quite as cute. I want the most adorable baby Yoda!
