Fallout World Lore:

The Nuka Cola Bottle is an important part of the Fallout world created by Bethesda.

In the Fallout video game series, Nuka-Cola is a popular and iconic fictional soft drink.

It serves as a post-apocalyptic equivalent to pre-war sodas. Nuka-Cola comes in various flavors, with Quantum being a notable variant due to its distinctive blue glow and alleged mild radioactivity.

The drink is often featured in the game's lore and marketing campaigns, and its scarcity makes it a sought-after item in the game world.

It's typically advertised by Nuka Girl, a space suit wearing blonde woman, wearing thigh-high boots!
Nuka-Cola, with its retro-futuristic branding, is a symbol of the Fallout universe, representing the fusion of pre-war nostalgia and post-apocalyptic survival.

With the new Amazon Prime Fallout Series, set to release on April 12th, there's every reason to make your own.

Which Fallout game is your favorite!?

  • Fallout 3
  • Fallout New Vegas
  • Fallout 4
  • Fallout Shelter
  • Fallout 76

They all feature caps as currency and the Nuka Cola as the very iconic soda pop drink--just as important as stepping out the vault door!

I played one full playthrough of Fallout 4 and I loved it, now I play Fallout 76 every day and do my daily challenges, grind for rare plans and decorate my settlement.

I love the look of Fallout Shelter! The little characters are so cute, fun to name, simple game play and fun prizes!

I really like the multiplayer aspect of 76, it's kind of my thing.

Grab your Power Armor and let's get crafting this Nuka Cola!

Step 1: 3D Print the Nuka Bottle

Some absolute Ultra Mega Beast Chad Legend---aka, hero made this free file and it's available on Thingiverse Nuka Cola Rocket Bottle FREE 3D print file, if you have access to a 3D printer!

Printed at 7 inches tall, fine detail printing.

Took 20 hours of 3D printing.

Used Hatchbox Filament in Copper for the perfect Nuka Cola shine--no need to paint the bottle or anything!

I hired my brother to 3D print this Nuka Cola bottle for me with his Ender 3 3D Printer.

I love how it turned out.

Some people have taken time to coat their 3D print in resin, cast a mold and make shinier versions, but I think this turned out great.

I love the shine, the coloring and the slight pixelation the lines of print give.

It's the perfect Nuka Cola Rocket Bottle prop!

Nuka Cola Label!

It does need the perfect Nuka-Cola label.

I went with the classic flavor, Nuka Cola, bottle.

You could 3D print any variety of bottles in all different colors and make the whole Nuka collection!

  • Nuka Cola
  • Nuka Cherry
  • Nuka Cranberry
  • Nuka Twist
  • Nuka Quantum
  • Nuka Dark
  • Nuka Orange
  • Nuka Grape
  • Nuka Quartz
  • Nuka Victory
  • Nuka Cola Wild

Am I missing any of the Nuka drinks?

Step 2: Paint Red

Begin by picking a red acrylic craft paint to paint the background of the label and the cap on top.

I'm using a matte FolkArt paint for the perfect flat finish.

Adhering vinyl to this curve is much too difficult, so painting is the BEST option.

Step 2: Paint Red Begin by picking a red acrylic craft paint to paint the background of the label and the cap on top.

Carefully paint the Nuka Cola cap red--and those little ridges too!

Paint in thin coats, let them dry and then paint one more coat over that.

Carefully paint the Nuka Cola cap red.

The typical Nuka Cola bottle is pretty worn out and distressed--most of the times you'll find it empty!

I kept mine looking really clean and new, but if you wanted to use some distress inks to add some wear and tear to yours, that would be awesome.

Then paint the center circle of the Nuka Cola bottle label red.

Use thin layers and let them dry completely.

Then paint another thin layer of the red paint.

Step 3: White Vinyl Nuka Cola Label

While the red paint is drying, cut out the Nuka Cola logo with the Cricut out of white adhesive vinyl.

After cutting the image to fit the red circle space, weed out the extra vinyl.

Don't try to use red vinyl as the background circle, the curve of the bottle is too big, the vinyl ends up folding weird.

I tried it.

The Nuka Cola label works great though.

Peeling off the excess vinyl in one piece is so rewarding!

Oh, guess what!?

My head got under the camera, and the lighting was just right, revealing how much silver hair I have!
I'm super thrilled and just HAD to include this picture.

My dad went prematurely gray, and I was hoping that would be my fate, but it's coming in right as it should in my 40's.

I'm pretty freaking stoked though!

Okay, back to the Nuka Cola for all you Vault Dwellers!

Put some transfer tape on the vinyl and peel off the paper backing.

Okay, back to the Nuka Cola. Put some transfer tape on the vinyl and peel off the paper backing.

Then place the Nuka Cola logo on a slight angle and press the white adhesive vinyl in place firmly with your fingers.

I did not need to use any tools for this part, and I didn't want to scratch the paint at all.

I didn't seal it or anything...I suppose you could if you wanted to.

Ooh lala, I love it! Again, you could distress it if you wanted to.

I didn't seal this with anything, it is holding up just fine.

It's the perfect wastelander prop for a costume, cosplay or Fallout themed video game room!

Step 4: Cap Label Sticker

Then I used some Nuka Cola label stickers I made for my Fallout 4 Themed party a couple years ago and just stuck one right on top of the bottle.

No vinyl cutting necessary for the bottle cap!

You could still use the same technique of cutting some white adhesive vinyl in a smaller size for the bottle cap label as the front though--it would be really tedious to weed though!

I love how it turned out.

7 inches tall is perfect in my hand.

It compares well to the Purified Water, feels like the same ratio as the video game.

I am super happy about it.
