Little Sparkler Patriotic Iron On Onesie with Cricut Maker

It's that time of year to get patriotic.  Bust out the red, white and blue and salt water taffy--get ready to celebrate!  I remember my favorite thing about Summer when I was little was the 4th of July parade in our hometown.  We'd each bring a grocery sack and end up with it loaded full of salt water taffy.  Nowadays, if you go to a parade...you have to be wearing patriotic shirts!
Use a Cricut Maker to make your own...for everyone in your family!  Do you have a Cricut?  They are amazing--worth their weight in gold.  If you are considering getting one, check out this post.

For making shirts, you'll also want to get an EasyPress 2.  The EasyPress is a game changer!  If you want high quality, long lasting shirts...the EasyPress is the way to go.

 Supplies Needed:

Right click to save off the following PNG file.  Then upload it into Cricut Design Space™
Place the iron on vinyl on the mat with the glossy side down.  Then cut out the images.  I did one part in gold and one part in holographic iron on vinyl.  Make sure to mirror the image on the settings so the image cuts out in reverse.
Use the Bright Pad and the weeding tool to remove the excess iron-on vinyl from the image.
Double check that all the little inside pieces are removed and they are ready to iron on.
Place the baby bodysuit on the EasyPress mat and warm up the shirt with the EasyPress 2.
Place the EasyPress 2 on the shirt, right on top of the iron on vinyl.  Press down firmly with the EasyPress, but don't stand on it.  Make sure your settings match with the Recommended Settings chart found here.
Then turn the shirt over and press again for about 10-15 seconds.

Let the shirt and iron-on vinyl cool down completely, then remove the plastic carrier sheet.

That's it!

The shirt or onesie is ready to wear!  It's adorable and glitzy!  Perfect for baby to wear to the parade!
