Do you wear earrings?

I got my ears pierced when I was 6.

When I was 19 and got married, I stopped wearing them completely.

I love making earrings, but not wearing them...so I've got these ready for a last minute gift!

I set mine to score first, mostly by accident.

But it was only 20 seconds for the laser to draw out the shape.

I just left the basswood in place and then selected "cut" on the sidebar and started the process again.

Step 3: Cut

Now let the machine cut the project--it's so mesmerizing to watch through the amber plexiglass!

Step 5: Jewelry Hardware

Finish off the earrings with some jewelry pliers and earring hardware.

Paint or other finish on the wood is totally optional, but I am so natural when it comes to wood. I love it!
