Holographic Mermaid Scales Heart Onesie with Cricut
Make the most adorable baby onesie with this perfect heart shape with fish or mermaid scales design cut from Cricut's holographic iron-on vinyl. Holographic iron on is my favorite!
It shimmers and shines and looks like an array of assorted colors depending on the amount of light it is in. It's the perfect statement iron-on and it's absolutely adorable on this baby bodysuit!
Cricut's Holographic Iron On comes in a rainbow of colors: Blue, Cobalt, Dahlia, Red, Translucent Blue and Translucent red. The Holographic Iron On for this project is the Translucent RED.

Begin by placing the iron on vinyl shiny side/pattern side down on the mat. I use the strong grip mat when working with holographic iron on.
Insert into the Cricut Maker and cut the heart shape mermaid scales design that I made.
Second, remove the iron on vinyl from the mat and weed off the excess iron on.
It peels off beautifully!
Third, set the baby onesie or bodysuit on the EasyPress mat.
Press it so it is ironed and warm.
Place the iron on image on the shirt with the plastic side up.
Press with the EasyPress 2 according to the recommended settings.
Next, let the iron on vinyl cool down completely.
Then peel off the carrier sheet.
That's it! This little onesie is ready for the cutest baby to wear!
Hit the beach, go to the park, wear it around town to show off that shimmer!
