Trick or Treat Halloween Loot Bag!
My favorite part of Halloween is the costumes and the candy!  I remember using a pillowcase as a child and trying to get it all full of candy.  I hated starting out...that first house...no candy in the bag.  One little tootsie roll hits the bottom.  It's a long night...but totally worth it!
Now that I have kids of my own, I'm a big fan of a sturdy loot bag--with a shoulder strap!
Easy to carry and holds loads of candy.
Best part--this bag takes 15 minutes to make!
This bag is part of Craft Lightning's 15 minute Halloween Crafts with a focus on Cricut!
So for this craft you will need:
Canvas tote bag
Cricut cutting machine (Cricut Explore Air™ 2 machine)
Cricut Glitter Iron On Vinyl
Weeding hook & Iron
~
I found this Trick or Treat image online.  I copied it and here's the png.
Right click to save off, personal use only.
Then upload it into Cricut Design Space.
Click the "mirror image" button and click continue.
Then load the material, plastic side sticking to the mat.
Then insert into the Cricut and click the "go" button.
The canvas bag can be ironed flat and set so it's ready to go.
Once the material has been cut, it's time to weed the excess.
This is a complicated cut, so I printed off the image, so I had a reference of where the pieces should be.  Glitter vinyl is a bit more difficult than smooth, so maybe cut it at a little thicker than just dialed at "iron on".
Then place the iron on on the canvas bag so it's readable and smooth it down.

Then iron over the plastic (or with a cover cloth) for a couple minutes, going over each part.
Then let it cool down and peel back the plastic.  Re-iron if necessary.
Now it's ready to rock!  Fill up with candy and enjoy Trick-or-Treating!
I love the subtle sparkle from the glitter!
Perfect for more than just candy...great for books at the Library and all other Autumnal toting needs!
