 Chocolate Truffle Cookies!
 3 Ways!
These are so yummy and taste like chocolate truffles!
My 12 year old daughter adjusted this recipe on her own and made divine little cookies!
They would look pretty with some powdered sugar sprinkled on them too!
Subtle variations make this dessert a crowd pleaser for any occasion!
Mix the ingredients.
The dough will be stiff and kind of lumpy looking.
Just press into balls and line on cookie sheet.
Bake in the oven for 10 minutes at 350*
 Let cool and serve.
Perfect for some Christmas baking!
Um, and sandwiched with Nutellais a great little Whoopie pie!
Or any kind of frosting!
Here's the recipe:
1 1/4 cup flour
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 egg
1/2 cup butter
1 cup white sugar

Mix butter and sugar until creamy.
Add egg, mix.
Add dry ingredients, mix.
It will be dry but able to press together to form balls.

Bake 10 minutes at 350*

This last batch we used Special Dark Cocoa Powder and only baked them for 9 minutes.
Then pulled them out and pressed a Mint Truffle Kiss on top of each one.
Let them sit until the chocolate firms up.
 These ones are so good!
Love that rich chocolate taste!
Which way would you pick?
