Framed Agate Slices!

Framed Agate Slices! Make a fabulous and natural piece of art for decor! You will need agate slices.  These range in sizes and price. I use gold gilding liquid leaf from Plaid Then paint the edges of all the agates in glimmering gold! You will also need some simple frames. I painted mine white with paint from Plaid Crafts. Then replace the glass in the frame and a white piece of paper inside. Then use a little hot glue and glue the agate slice right on the top of the glass. Add some fancy calligraphy on the agate for a finishing piece of art! I love the shimmery gold and the sparkly crystals! They glisten and sparkle. Great for gifts and wall decor! Wax Sealed Easter Eggs!

 Wax Sealed Easter Eggs! Make the perfect sealed Easter eggs using a wax seal and some colorful twine.  Upgrade your Easter Egg game with wax seals! They are fancy and fun to do. And...you can keep snitching hands out of them until they are supposed to!  You'll need plastic eggs, twine, wax stamper, wax sticks and mini glue gun. I used the jumbo size eggs.  Love these. However, the purple one cracked beyond repair...rats.  I got this fun Fleur de Lis wax stamp and these Gold wax sticks from  Oriental Trading! They are the source for all party, holiday and event goodies!  First, stuff the egg full of goodies. I'm using Air Heads!  They are my favorite, and Oriental Trading has them in bulk!  Wrap the twine around the egg, right where the 2 halves connect. Never Tie Your Shoes Again!

 Never Tie Your Shoes Again! This is why I never teach my kids to tie their shoes! Don't tie your shoes! Okay, I taught my kids to tie a bow, but not their shoes. This is why. This is my favorite life hack.  Get shoes with laces and remove the laces.  You will also need some 1/4" elastic. It's cheap and comes in white or black. I mostly use black.  You need a different amount of elastic for different sizes of shoes. Unravel the elastic and thread one end through the lace holes. We usually use a pair of pliers to help ease it through.  Make sure you get the tabs on the tongue and every hole.  Once at the top, Put the shoe on.  This has to be worn so you can tighten it just the right amount.  Then tie it off in a square knot! Trim the ends and lightly singe the edges with a lighter to keep the ends from fraying.  Repeat for the other side! We do this on every pair of shoes. It is great for running shoes. ...
