Which Tumbler Heat Press is the Best?

Are you in the market for a Tumbler Heat Press!?

You are probably wondering which one of the many, many, many, heat presses available is the best one.

I have reviewed 5 tumbler heat presses and will break them all down here.

Is there a single "best" choice?

My Personal Breakdown: Cricut Mug Press is backed by Cricut quality. It's really nice but, it's too expensive and doesn't do enough. This was DEFINITELY cutting edge when it was first released, not so much now. Some people have rigged a way to get tumblers to work with it, but I was unsuccessful with tumblers. I wouldn't buy this for my tumbler business. I love having it for flawless mugs though--so if you just do a lot of mugs, this is a great machine. If I only had one machine, this wouldn't be it. Go2Craft Auto Tumbler Heat Press, is awesome and I wanted to LOVE it...but it's super pricy and for the size, it just doesn't do enough. It's a cool design, the controls are great and it's on sale--so that helps, but if I just had one machine, this wouldn't be it. Hitprex Tumbler Heat Press was my first and I was sold instantly. I love the size, the controls and the versatility is great. It needs to be heated up with the tumbler in the chamber, so I worried about it getting too hot and ruining the sublimation, but it didn't. It worked great! The price on this one is awesome, so it's a high contender for sure. However if I just had one machine, this wouldn't be it. HTVRont Auto Tumbler Heat Press is awesome, lightweight and compact. I love the even heat, easy controls and simple design. I did a whole party for 17 girl scouts using this press and it was amazing. However, if I just had one machine, this wouldn't be it. WalaPress Sublimation Oven is the winner for me. It takes up more storage space and requires shrink wrap on everything, but it does everything. I can do all my different size tumblers, tapered tumblers, mugs, dog bowls, coasters and more in this oven. You can even do multiple items at once. It is more expensive than all of them, but the versatility gets me.

No.

They all have pros and cons.

But I'll tell you which one I would buy if I could only get one, and list out the pros and cons to each.

Here's a link to my youtube video highlighting just 4 of them.

Okay.

For all of 5 of these tumbler heat presses, I used the same sublimation printer, sublimation paper, sublimation ink and tumbler blanks.

The only difference here is the tumbler heat press.

Each tumbler turned out perfect, no issues with the prints.

They are all excellent machines.

How to Use the Cricut Mug Press Making mugs is my favorite craft and Cricut has made it so easy! The Cricut Mug Press is a heat press that is designed specifically for sublimation on mugs, tumblers and other cylinders. Make a custom mug from start to finish in a half hour or less--the perfect craft for a last minute gift. The Cricut Mug Press is a game changer. I've been making sublimation mugs in the oven since last year and love how they turn out...but I love not having to use my kitchen for sublimation. The Mug Press is the perfect size for a craft shelf. It heats up fast and takes about 5 minutes to infuse a mug.

Clearly you can see there are many variables in picking the perfect tumbler heat press.

Cost is a big consideration for me...but I want to make sure I'm also getting something incredibly versatile--not just a one-trick-pony.

Clearly, there's a lot of variables here and not a clear cut winner.

Just based on price and functionality, there's a lot to consider.

I hope this review is helpful!

That's it!

Overall, I've loved all my Tumbler Heat Presses for various reasons...but if I could only have one of them, it would be the sublimation oven.
