I had my son take a bazillion photos of me. In 99% of them my sleeve had blown up in the wind, so they are all off.

In the other 1%, I was blinking, winking, moving or sticking my tongue out. Seriously, I am not a model. ðŸ˜®‍💨😒

So blur your eyes and imagine how great this quick nurse costume would look on you!

Slice the 2 images and remove the cross so you are left with just a circle and a cross cut out.

Decide on the final size after cutting your paper pattern and felt.

Step 2 Nurse Headpiece: Felt!

Now cut a simple pattern out of paper by folding a paper in half and cutting a trapezoid shape.

Hold the paper over the head to see how big it will be and adjust as necessary.

Then cut it out of felt, with a folded edge across the bottom. Cutting 2 layers of felt.

Let the hot glue cool and it's ready to wear!

The felt is soft and scrunches perfectly on the wearers head, so it looks just like a nurse hat.

Great for a last minute Halloween costume or cosplay!

That's it!

Do you dress up for Halloween?

I love dressing up and you'll find me dressing up for any excuse I can. I love to dress up for church, parties, themed events, and more!

Here's a little known fact.

Back in like 2007, I sewed and glued and worked on assembling the perfect Carmen Miranda (Chiquita Banana) costume, complete with fruit basket headpiece.

I was planning on wearing it to a church Fiesta party.

On our way to the fiesta, our car got hit by a car that turned left in front of us.

We never made it to the fiesta...but I got to wear my costume to the hospital instead.

Thankfully no one was badly injured and I can tell this story in a laughable way.

Maybe someday I'll do another Carmen Miranda costume...

Until then, enjoy my last costume of the season--this last minute nurse!
