Which of these vibrant butterfly cards do you like best?

I love the green card with the bright pink butterfly!

When I was little I loved finding and collecting monarch butterfly caterpillars and raising them in my backyard in a jar or a shoe box. I'd collect leaves and milk weed plants and stick them in the box with my caterpillars.

With one particular caterpillar, I wanted to make him so comfy that he'd transform into a butterfly before my eyes. I put him in a shoe box with all the food and a little lid of water. Perfect, right?

Well, I he never even had a chance to make a cocoon.

I came home from school the next day to find that my older brother had taken my caterpillar out of it's little shoe box home. I'm guessing he played with it for a while...and then shoved it into the fan of the air conditioning unit in our backyard. ðŸ˜

Ugh. I was so mad. Clearly, I still haven't forgiven him completely for this! 😂 Haha. Poor little caterpillar.

Now I just enjoy seeing butterflies around my yard. I love their vibrant colors and graceful demeanor.

The perfect subject for a pop-up card!
