Tombow ABT Pro Gift Tags DIY!

Here's a fun way to make a gift tag using Tombow's ABT PRO Alcohol Based Markers. These markers are so versatile for coloring, blending and illustration. Tombow sent these markers to me and they are giving a random set away at the end of my post. Affiliate links in post.

I love this technique for making handmade cards or gift tags. It's relaxing and gives you a few at a time instead of working tirelessly on one at a time.

I received a 12 pack of ABT PRO Alcohol-Based Markers and a 5 Pack in blues, as well as a blender marker. Giveaway winner will receive a random 12 pack and 5 pack with blender too!

I am using the Gray Palette, which works perfectly with the blues. It's a Silver Bells/Blue Christmas combination. I love these colors together!

Then you can whip up these gift tags!

Supplies Needed:

White Cardstock
Metallic Poster board
Paper Cutter/Scissors

Step 1 for Silver Bells Gift Tag:

Begin by drawing little hearts randomly on the page.

Switch pen colors and draw another shape. Stars, dots, hash marks, etc.

Then add some blue flowers here and there.

Draw something different with each color marker and fill the whole page.

Fill as much of the paper as you want!

Step 2 for Silver Bells Gift Tags:

Now use scissors or a paper cutter and cut the paper into quarters. Then cut two of the corners into small notches.

Now adhere the tags to the metallic poster board.

Use Tombow Permanent Adhesive roller to tape the tags down on the poster board. Leave gaps between the tags so you can cut them apart leaving a metallic border.

Then cut the tags with a 1/4 inch border around the tags.

Step 3 Finishing off Gift Tags:

Now use the black PN15 Marker to add a little message or to/from to finish it off. I don't prefer doing hand lettering with an alcohol based marker, but they still work if you write very slow.

Punch a hole and tie some ribbon if desired! Stick them on a gift with a bow for the perfect handmade touch to any gift.

That's it!
