Caramel Ice Cream with Hamilton Beach + Giveaway!
Ice cream is the perfect summer treat.  My favorite ice cream is Salted Caramel Truffle, so when I received this Hamilton Beach Ice Cream Maker I decided to make some caramel ice cream.  I am a big fan of all the add-ins, but decided to just make this creamy, smooth and delicious.  I'm also co-hosting a Hamilton Beach Ice Cream Party giveaway--enter at the end of the post!
You will need:
Hamilton Beach Ice Cream Maker
1 Cup Whole Milk
1/2 Cup Sugar
1/2 Cup Half & Half
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1 Package Caramel Instant Pudding Mix
2 Cups Whipping Cream
Rock Salt
Begin by mixing the milk and sugar and stir gently until the sugar is dissolved.
Then add the 1/2 & 1/2 and the pudding and whisk for 2 minutes
Then add the vanilla and whipping cream, stir until combined.
Then follow the Ice Cream Maker instructions.  Pour the mixture into the metal canister and secure the lid.  Set inside tub and attach the motor.  Plug in and make sure the canister is spinning.  Let it spin for about 2 minutes before adding layers of ice and rock salt in the tub.
The ice cream is ready when the machine stops, took about 25 minutes.  It is soft and very creamy.  If you desire a harder ice cream, put in a container and freeze before serving.  I love it soft!
This caramel ice cream is amazing!  It's smooth and wonderful!

I'd make butter brickle ice cream. It's my favorite and there is nothing in the stores that tastes good and has big brickle pieces.

I would try to make a butter pecan variety, but I would definitely start with something simple, like plain old vanilla.

I would start out making vanilla bean ice cream.
