LEGO Birthday Party DIY!
A Lego party is so much fun!  It's perfect for boys and girls alike!  It's easy to decorate with Lego minifigures, base plates and unwrapped Lego sets for centerpiece.  These DIY Lego Cupcake stands are perfect for awesome touch!
Simple basic colored balloons make the perfect backdrop for the party.  Blowing up with balloons is a breeze with the Balloon Buddy, check out this post here.
I used gray for the backdrop and the tablecloth so it wouldn't be overwhelmed with yellow.  Yellow is the classic Lego color after all.  These darling cupcakes were easy to make just by baking a box of cupcakes, frosting and sprinkling them and then cutting a Brick Lollipop stick half length and pushing it right in the center.  Adorable!
During the party:
Each child got a Lego Classic Creativity Box and was able to play and build.  Some chose to follow the directions and others created their own designs.  Everyone felt successful!
Coloring stations with a minifigure to customize at the tables.
Cupcakes and ice cream
and Favor Bag to take home!
The party was a huge success and so much fun!  Everyone loves brightly colored Lego pieces!

This is a great Lego set to get started.  I love the pink and teal bricks!
