Halloween Burlap-Bats-Owls-Twine Wreath!

I finally did it.  I made a wreath.
Actually this was more of my 8 year old daughters doing.
And the 10 year old son helped too!
I handed them a wreath form and strips of burlap and
told them to wrap it like a mummy.
Then tie additional strips in knots around it.

Then I dug through my "donations" pile and
found these old owls that
I couldn't figure out what to do with.
Hot glued the pair on!
Then the 4 year old and I hot glued on bats.
He handed them to me...and I glued them on. :)
Then we still felt like it was too plain...so we stacked it with a
vintage frame to give it that elegant Haunted House look!
(plus it hangs in the entryway indoors...so no risk of theft!)
Love it!

I love that you mixed the wreath with a picture frame! Really great project!
