Make your own Sonic Screwdriver Pens!

 We are at it again with more Doctor Who inspired awesomeness and geekery! Back in August we made some sonic screwdriver pens ! Click the link for the full tutorial! We just did a ton more for Christmas gifts... and there's some in my etsy shop !  We used lots of colors and made them so cool!  It was a blast! Linking up to THESE parties this week!

Doctor Who Perfect Party Planner!!!

Want to plan the perfect Doctor Who Party? Here's everything you'll need! Decor: We decorated the mantle with lots of Doctor Who stuff!  Vinyl signs, banner with Doctor Who catch phrases, Hello, Lego Dr Who, Sonic Screwdrivers, Bowties, badges and buttons, and even some Valentines! Complete with Tardis Police Box garbage can!  We also decorated with blue and gold balloons!  Take a stroll through your dollar store...we looked  at everything that was tardis blue color! We decorated the garbage can with white  shelf liner paper from the dollar store too! The banner was made with cardstock and washi tape and vinyl alphabet stickers! I didn't make invites, since it was just my family... but you could always adapt a Valentine! Doctor Who PARTY FAVORS!

No Doctor Who Party would be much fun  without some fabulous party favors! Here are 5 easy DIY one's! Faux leather Tardis Journals! Begin with mini composition books. I used a 1 1/4" square and punched a bunch of squares. Then I took a 1 1//2" square and cut around it to make a skinny little square frame.  Then bust out the LOW HEAT hot glue gun... It helped that I had nails to hold onto the square while running a line of hot glue all around it...but I still managed to stick my  finger in the glue...a lot...so yes, low heat. Stick them on the composition book.  They will rise slightly off the book because of the hot glue. Perfect for the relief! Then I used mod podge and glued 2 layers of simple white tissue paper over the top. Let them dry. Then I took them into the garage and spray painted the tops of the books TARDIS blue! After they dried, I used craft ink in chocolate chip to sponge on some distressing ink!  Per...
