Let's get started!
I loved stickers when I was young, but didn't get stickers very often...just when I was good at the dentist or something like that.
Now I can make all the stickers I want!

SUPPLIES NEEDED FOR HOLOGRAPHIC STICKERS:
- Holographic Sticker Paper
- Canon Pixma Pro Printer
- White Waterproof Vinyl Sticker Paper
- Cricut Maker 3 (or other electronic cutting machine)
- Watercolor Butterfly Images from Cricut Design Space
A-Sub and Koala Products:
I am using supplies gifted to me from A-Sub and Koala.
They make the perfect blank printing options for a variety of handmade gift ideas or a great way to promote your small business.
STEP 1: PRINTING ON HOLOGRAPHIC PAPER
First step to making beautiful iridescent hologram stickers is printing off the image.
Open up the Cricut Design Space app, with the watercolor tie dye butterflies.
Then click to make the project.
It will arrange the butterflies on one piece of paper with the corresponding registration marks for cutting out later.
Send your image to the printer and have it print as many as you like, I am doing 5 holographic sheets and 5 white sticker sheets.
STEP 2: CRICUT CUTTING
Now place the white sticker sheet on the Cricut mat and have the Cricut cut out the outlines of the butterfly stickers.
It's important to make some white stickers, because the Cricut cannot read the registration marks on the shiny holographic sticker paper.
TIP: Cut on the "copy paper" setting to get the perfect kiss cut! (Cutting through the sticker paper but not the backing paper.)
CRICUT REGISTRATION MARKS:
Using the Cricut Design Space "print and cut" feature is awesome...but the Cricut sensors can't pick up the registration marks on the holographic sticker paper.
This will be an issue if you are trying to cut out details...if you are just cutting your stickers into squares, you can use a paper cutter, or even a paper punch.
If you need the Cricut to do the detail work, print out another sheet on regular paper or white sticker paper. (or save those registration marks when you do projects in the future)
Cut out and place the registration marks exactly over the top of the printed holographic paper registration marks.
Then send the sticker sheet into the Cricut to be cut and you'll find the sensor will pick it up.
As long as those registration marks are lines up, the cuts will be perfect!
Future Tip: Save all the registration marks you print for future use with holographic stickers!
I don't feel sad about printing off these beautiful butterflies on white sticker paper, they are gorgeous and perfect for sharing, gifting, and sticking everywhere!
Of course the holographic butterfly stickers are soooo cool!
I love the way they shimmer and shine!
I like to remove the sticker paper from the rest of the sheet so the stickers are easier to access and I can keep those registration marks safe for later.
STEP 3: STICKING!
Now stick the holographic butterfly stickers on your water bottle, tool box, or trapper keeper!
I can't decide which butterfly is my favorite, they are all so beautiful!
There's other butterfly images too that I didn't use, so you can make smaller stickers and add more of them to your project in Cricut Design Space. Search "Watercolor Tie Dye Butterfly"
These cute stickers make a great gift, I keep them on hand in my house in case a little friend comes to visit and I can give them stickers on their way home.
Holographic stickers for the win!
That's it!
Making holographic stickers with Cricut print and cut feature is so easy and simple, if you know the tricks!
Save those registration marks for holographic stickers whenever you use the print and cut and you'll be ahead of the game.
Holographic stickers are shiny and gorgeous and worth the extra work when making stickers!
