How to Make Pressed Flower Vase Jar DIY with Mod Podge

The crystal clear formula works great on clear items like glass, time to upcycle those old jars or an entire vase with pressed fresh flowers.

Supplies Needed for Pressed Flower Vase DIY:

• Clear Glass Jar or Clear Glass Vase (I'm using an old chocolate milk mix glass bottle)
• Crystal Clear Mod Podge (Available exclusively at Michaels)  non-affiliate link
• Pressed and Dried Flowers (includes tweezers)
• Small Paintbrush
• Tweezers

Step 1: Crystal Clear Mod Podge

Begin by applying a thin layer of Mod Podge to a portion of the glass jar.

For best results, just work in a small section at a time.

Work over an easy-to-clean work surface or something like parchment paper.

Step 2: Pressed Flowers

Use tweezers to select a pressed flower and place it on the glass jar where the Mod Podge was painted on.

The flowers are delicate, so use care, but the flower should contact the small amount of glue and stay put.

Then use the small paintbrush to coat a thin layer of Crystal Clear Mod Podge over the top of it.

Repeat this process all over the jar, designing your flower projects in a beautiful way.

Just a small amount of glue is needed if the flower is completely flat.

NOTE: I did find that if the flower was more complex, or had more layers to it, I needed to slide my paint brush under all the petals to be sure to secure it to the jar.

Fill the jar, vase or bottle with as many flowers as you desire.

Think about the direction the ferns and leaves lay down to compliment the bottle...I did not put any flowers on the bottom of the vase, but you certainly could.

Since the simple steps just include a small amount of glue, the flower and a little more glue on top...the jar and the flowers are already sealed in place and done.

Just wait for it to dry, which doesn't seem to take too long.

DIY projects with pressed flowers just show off the natural beauty in such an easy way.

This step-by-step guide was just 2 simple steps!

I love how easy and gorgeous this craft is, and it didn't use much of the Mod Podge either, so I'd say you could make at least 25 of these glass jars with one bottle!

This vase is ready for fresh flowers, some greenery or adding some brightly colored gel pens in!

The Crystal Clear Mod Podge has a hard, smooth finish.

I can still see some of my brush strokes, but that was probably due to my happy crafting skill!

This would make a great handmade gift for birthday's, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day or Christmas!

It would be darling to add some little flower accents to candle holders too!

There are so many different ways to use this new Mod Podge and pressed flowers.
