Fallout 76 Recipe: Pumpkin Pie

Pumpkin pie is a great American dessert, and with that it's found deep in the lore of old American set Fallout game series.

You'll find rejuvenating pumpkin pies dotting the wasteland.

Here's the perfect pumpkin pie recipe you can have at your Fallout party, Thanksgiving dinner or just because!

Pumpkin Pie is one of my favorite finds in the game!

I typically find 2 in the Pumpkin house, north east part of the map.

There's a pumpkin pie on the table and one on the counter.

I love that there is 2 pies, because whenever I make pumpkin pie--I always make 2.

It's easier to make 2 pies instead of just one...and I'm pretty sure that's what the Pumpkin House owners decided to do before the bombs fell.

Where can I find pumpkin pie in Fallout 76?

• Crafted at any cooking station after having learning recipe.
• Bought from Mr. Waiter at the Whitespring Resort.
• Sold by Yasmin Chowdhury.
• Two in the Pumpkin House kitchen--one on the table and one on the counter.
• One on a dining table in one of the Middle Mountain Cabins.
• One in an oven in a trailer southeast of Bolton Greens.
• One in the fridge at Lakeside Cabins.
• One can be found at Lewis & Sons Farming Supply, inside the Putnam Residence, on the corner counter.
• One in the fridge at Sunrise Field.
• One in an oven in The Whitespring Golf Club.
• Can be purchased from the fine dining vendor at the Whitespring Resort.
• One can be found at Grafton Steel Underground near a skeleton on a table.
• One on a serving table at the motel at Pleasant Valley cabins.
• One in an oven at Aaronholt homestead.

This is a simple and classic pumpkin pie recipe that can be used for any and all occasions.

My husband loves pie, so this is a fun treat to whip up every year or so.

Ingredients Needed for Pumpkin Pie:

• Pure Pumpkin Puree (29 oz. can)
• 1.5 Cup Sugar
• 1 teaspoon Salt
• 2 Tablespoons Pumpkin Pie Spice
• 24 Fl. Oz Evaporated Milk
• 4 eggs

Set oven to 425*F (will bake for 15 minutes at high heat and then reduce to 350*F for 45 more minutes)

This makes 2 nine inch pies.

Step 1: Make Pie Crust

Ingredients Needed for Homemade Pie Crust:

• 2 Cups Flour
• 3/4 Cup Butter (cold and cut into pieces)
• 1/2 Cup Cold Water
• 1 teaspoon Salt

I always make my own pie crusts, because I like knowing the ingredients in it...and I always use real butter. This can be made with shortening, if you are in to that.

Incorporate ingredients and blend together slowly with a pastry blender.

Do not knead or overwork the dough.

Then roll it out on a lightly floured surface and place it in the pie dish.

You can also you a store bought pie crust for this yummy pie.

Finish off the edge of the pie by folding the edge under itself.

This makes a nice thick wavy edge.

If you don't like the thick edges, then use a knife and trim the crust to the edge of the pie dish before making the wavy edge...and it won't be as thick.

We like it thick here. 😉​

Poke some fork holes in the pie crust for even cooking.

Step 2: Mix Pumpkin Pie Filling

Add one Pure Pumpkin Puree (29 oz. can) into a mixing bowl.

Add 1 and 1/2 cup of sugar.

Add 1 teaspoon of salt.

Add 2 tablespoon of pumpkin pie spice--I like it heavy on the spice.

Mix and then add in 4 beaten eggs.

Then pour in one can of evaporated milk and stir in as you go.

Then pour in the second can of milk and stir until incorporated.

Step 3: Fill Pie Shells and Bake

Now pour the pumpkin pie mixture into the empty pie shells.

The entire mixture fills each pie shell to the tip toppy of the brim!

Carefully place them in the oven, mine both fit on the same rack.

Let them bake at 425* for 15 minutes, then set the temperature to 350* and let them cook for another 45 minutes.

Until a toothpick inserted near center comes out clean.

Serve pumpkin pie with some whipped cream and don't forget your Nuka Quantum Keychain!
