Doodlecraft Watercolor Patterned Vinyl and Iron on! I'm super excited about today! It's release day for my Patterned Vinyl Collaboration with Expressions Vinyl. Clear back in March I signed up to collaborate with Expressions Vinyl on 10 designs to be turned into vinyl and iron on vinyl. I picked vivid watercolors as my medium and I love how all 10 patterns work together. It's like my runway collection.

Step 2: Calligraphy

Decide which of the Watercolor Calligraphy quotes you like the best!

Start every day with a smile!
I'm still wearing that smile you gave me!
it's a great day to have a great day!
Today is one of the good days!
Be your own sunshine!
Do more of what makes you happy!

Cut out the adhesive vinyl and then apply it to the smaller wood piece.

The calligraphy phrases are all about 4x6 inches, so it's easy to find pieces that size.

Step 3: Shadow Box Background

Cut a piece of vinyl to fit the inside of the shadow box or tray.

Then peel the backing and place it inside.

Step 4: Block Risers

Use a hobby knife to cut off pieces of the vinyl where the risers will attach.

This way the blocks can glue directly to the wood tray and not compromise the adhesive vinyl over time.

Then use the E6000 glue to adhere the small wood blocks or scrap wood to the tray.

Space them apart so the board on top will be balanced, yet the blocks underneath wont show.

Just experiment with the placement without the glue to start.

Once you decide the optimal placement, cut the backing and glue them in place.

Place the wood calligraphy piece on top of the blocks.

There's a little workable time with the E6000, so slide it around so it's perfectly lined up.

Then let the glue dry completely while it is laying flat.
