Spend the Day at Legoland California!

Spending the day at Legoland was so much fun for our family. We love everything Lego and so Legoland did not disappoint. The miniature models were fun to look at, the details are exquisite! Here's the best parts of Legoland if you are planning a fun trip to the California theme park.

This was the best theme park we've been to as a family. We lucked out because it wasn't crowded at all. We got all the rides, yummy food and atmosphere that we could handle! We would absolutely go back when we are in the neighborhood.

With three older kids, age 16, 14 and 10, I wondered if the theme park would be fun enough for them. It was, there's a great deal of rides and things to see for all ages. When we entered the park we headed off to the right, first going on the Lego Ninjago ride and then Technic Coaster, which my kids loved.

We were at Legoland in March and it was wonderful! The weather was great and the park was empty. Hardly any lines...so my kids could go on the coasters over and over. Once we hit all the big rides we stopped for some Granny's Apple Fries in Castle Hill.

After a few more rides we went to Knights Smokehouse BBQ for lunch. We ate lots of yummy food! It was expensive, but totally worth it for happy kids and a happy husband to hang out the rest of the day at the park. Legoland closed at 6 PM when we were there, so we didn't stay late.

While we let the food settle, we walked around Miniland USA and saw all the Lego diorama builds. There's lots of fun photo opportunities! We rode the Coast Cruise around the lake and saw several landmarks around the earth made of Lego!

We had hopper tickets and went over to the aquarium during the day when it started raining. It was nice, but not the most spectacular aquarium we've been to. It was a nice distraction during the day and the extra cost wasn't a big deal.

I received 2 tickets as a Social Media influencer. We paid full price for one adult ticket and got the child's ticket for free. Then my husband got a military ticket. So it was very cost effective for our family to attend Legoland. They always have great deals on tickets and deals--so keep a look out!

The end of the day found us at the gift shop, building little minifigs to take home. I love the options for girls hair and fun shirts. I just had to buy keychains and minifigures....I love Lego minifigs!

That's it!

Have you been to Legoland theme park before? What did you think?
Definitely need to plan another trip, since the new Lego Movie World is coming in Spring of 2020! I love the Lego Movie, and the new world looks awesome and includes Unikitty--my favorite Lego character!
