Cricut Maker Personalized Christmas Stockings Tutorial
Personalize your holidays with this Cricut Maker personalize Christmas stocking tutorial. These stockings are super cheap but made so much nicer given a little personal touch.
When I was young, I loved finding my name on those cheap trading post keychains...since my name is Natalie, it's one of the only girl N names, so it was pretty common. However, my love for making things personal has not changed.
I love adding personal touches with the Cricut! I love how these plush stockings turned out. These personalized stockings are great for teacher gifts too, filled with hand-sanitizer, school supplies and a gift card!
When I was little, we always got an orange in the toe of our stocking, anyone else have this family tradition? We never ate the oranges, we'd just put them in the fruit basket on the counter.
Haha! As a mom, I've never put oranges in my kids stockings, but I don't fill them all the way up either. Just a small wrapped gift and some candy.
We typically let our kids open their stockings when I am putting breakfast together, then we eat before unwrapping gifts.

Supplies Needed for Personalized Christmas Stockings Tutorial:
Step 1: Gold Foil Iron-on!
Gold Foil Iron-on is my favorite!
Begin by removing the tags from the stockings. The stockings are generic and fuzzy.
The iron-on has no trouble adhering to the stockings beautifully! It's amazing what you can put iron-on on!
Use the Cricut Maker to cut out the desired designs. Just use Cricut Design Space and search for snowflakes! I used the font Archemy for each initial.
(This project is just cutting out with the fine point blade, so the Cricut Explore Air 2 Mint works beautifully as well)
Then remove the iron on vinyl and weed the excess vinyl from the image.
Step 2: EasyPress Mini!
Then cut the pieces apart and set them on the stockings in the desired location, while your EasyPress mini is heating up.
The Cricut EasyPress Mini Raspberry is perfect for this craft because it is easy to control where the heat is. A large press would easily melt the fur of the stockings.
Then press the heat on each of the little snowflakes and initals. Use the tip of the EasyPress to make sure the heat is just going on the iron-on vinyl.
Step 3: Cool Down!
Let the vinyl cool down and then remove the carrier sheet. Then fill the stockings with goodies, toys and other fun stuffers! Great way to make some personalized stockings to hang by the fire.
