5 Minute Air Fryer Donuts After School Snack

The after-school-snack. I remember even through High School, coming home from school absolutely famished. My mom died when I was a Junior in high school, so she wasn't there with a snack anymore. I kind of took over the after school snack scene...and dinner. My favorite snack was scrambled eggs on toast, I'd eat that after school nearly every day, and still be hungry for dinner. These donuts are a treat that I remember my mom making, but I found a way to make them a little better for you. Plus, enter the Back-to-School giveaway at the end of the post.

I received an Air Fryer from Hamilton Beach and it's the perfect tool for making donuts in 5 minutes! Plus, they aren't deep fried in oil, so they have way less fat & calories. Great for a little after school snack.
An air fryer is like a mini convection oven that sits on your counter top. It heats up nearly instantly, so there's not any wasted time waiting for things to preheat. I love my air fryer, it has a permanent place on the counter because I use it so often.

Ingredients:

1 Can Refrigerator Biscuits
Cinnamon/Sugar (1 cup sugar to 1 tablespoon cinnamon)
Melted Butter
Air Fryer
Step one, open the can of biscuits and place 3-4 in the air fryer basket.
Then push the basket into the fryer and set the temperature to 350* and set the timer to 5 minutes.
Boom! After 5 minutes, you will have golden brown biscuits...browned on both sides and cooked fluffy through the middle.
Then add some fun toppings!
Dip each side of the biscuit in melted butter.
Then roll the buttered biscuit in the cinnamon sugar mix.

That's it! Serve and enjoy!

I served these to a group of 10 year olds that were over and they were all super thrilled! They kept commenting on how amazing they tasted and couldn't believe they took so little time to make. I call this a win!
