Silver Sparrow Chain Choker Necklace DIY
I love a great choker necklace.  I also super love sparrows.  This necklace is a perfect combination of both of these favorites.  A choker like this is a great first jewelry project, perfect for Tween/Teen crafts or even a girls night out craft!
You will need:
14 inches of silver plated chain
4 silver plated jump rings
Silver plated clasp
Sparrow charm
Jewelry Pliers
I love a 14 inch, plus clasp, choker.  Measure your neck and see what you like best.  Then cut the chain to that length.  The clasp and sparrow will add a little length to the choker, so keep that in mind.

Use one jump ring to attach the sparrow charm to one end of the chain.
Attach the sparrow to the other side of the chain with the jump ring.
Cut the chain in half.
Don't pull the jump ring apart, but slide it apart with a twist...this will make it easier to tighten again.
Add a jump ring on the end and hook the barrel clasp on it.  Attach the chain on the other end of the barrel clasp.
Now it is ready to wear!  I love how it turned out--so cute and delicate!
Subtle and dainty, but makes a cute statement.
