 Valentine Heart-Shaped Paper Envelope DIY
I love Valentine's day because of the decor and the hearts.  I think it's a fun way to celebrate love and thinking of others.  Paper heart envelopes are the finishing touch to any Valentine and they are easy to make!  I remember making loads of Valentines, it was my favorite holiday because I could be so crafty...I did not like getting pre-made Valentines.  These envelopes are great any time of year and make letter giving much more special!
You will need:
12x12 sheet of paper (mine's DCWV)
Cricut Explore Air™ 2 machine
Wax seal and wax sticks and glue gun
In Cricut Design Space, click the shape button and select heart.  Scale it so it fills the mat, 11.5 inches wide.  Insert your paper on the mat and cut it out.
Yay, a perfect heart!
Turn the heart over and fold the edges in so they are nearly half way through the top bumps of the heart.
And fold in the other side the same way.
Then fold up the bottom of the heart to meet the top of the side folds.  Glue, staple or tack in place.
Then fold the top down.  The tip of the heart covers everything and is ready to be filled and sealed.
Add your card or sentiment and then seal with a fancy wax seal.
Heart-shaped perfection!  These are a super simple way to make an envelope!
(note: the thinner the paper, the easier)
Great way to say "I love you!" any day of the week!
