Cricut Explore Air 2: Just Married Cling Vinyl

What different kinds of DIY projects can I make with the Cricut?
That is a wonderful question!  Cricut has so many different mediums for making projects that span a huge scope.  You will not run out of projects that you can make with your Cricut.  I love my Cricut Explore Air™ 2 machine.  I use it all the time.
Here's a great post for getting started with your Cricut machine.
Here's a project that cuts leather.
Here's a project using the drawing tool.
Here's a project using iron on.
Just to name a few!
~
This project is awesome and features the Window Cling Vinyl!  It's so fun and versatile.
You don't have to commit, like vinyl...unless you want it up for years then it will stay!  It's great for window seasonal decor.  And perfect for a 'Just Married' sign for the newlyweds car!
Window cling is amazing and comes in a few colors.
I used gold.  You get a 12 inch by 48 inch roll.
Lay it out on the 24 inch cutting mat.
You can use this just married file if you want.

Set the dial to custom material and select the window cling.
Then make sure the window is clean.  Wash off all dirt and grime or it will not stick.
Then gently mist with a spray bottle of water.  This, I promise you, is the secret to getting it to stick tight!
Then stick the cling vinyl on the window and ta-da!  It's perfect!
It's a great way to decorate a wedding car without any damage to the vehicle.
"why not just use vinyl?"
Because not everyone wants to peel vinyl off the back of a car window.
This is perfect for temporary!
But--It's also perfect for long term too!
I have tiny windows in our basement and we needed someway to obscure the view but still let in as much light as possible.  This cling window vinyl is perfection!
I got 2 rolls of the Cricut® Frosted Window Cling, White (more than one year ago).  I cleaned the windows, cut the vinyl to size and misted the window with water.  Then stuck it on.  It's been living on the window happily for over a year, and we love it!
You need this creative project in your arsenal!
