Hello Friends Chalkboard Greeting Sign!

 Last year I won a "my favorite things" giveaway from
House of Smiths
It came beautifully wrapped and filled with fun!
(Those sweet and salty nuts were gone the same day...so good)
But buried under this pile was a chalkboard sign!
see it there...peeking out?

 I finally got it out and wrote 'hello friends' on it.
I used regular old chalk and then a chalk marker to outline it.
I added some twine to hang it...and it works on everything!
Simple burlap wreath:

 Even on this tree trimming with bird nest!
(my hubby was pruning trees and one of them was completely dead...it snapped in half when
 he touched it...so he clipped the branches down and we stuck it in the front pot!)

 Looks like it belongs there!

This is an easy DIY to spruce up a frame, door or other sign hanging space!
You could make your own chalkboard with thin mdf and a jigsaw.
Fun gift idea too!
