How to Make Laminated Washi Tape Bookmarks! My 2 older children and I had a blast making Washi Tape Bookmarks with some scrapbook paper, washi tape and the laminator. This is a fun craft to teach kids how to tear tape, and washi tape is so forgiving, colorful and fun. Great for Summer time reading crafts. We started with adorable double sided paper cut to 3" by 6" We wrapped colorful strips of washi tape around both sides of the paper Then cut the strips in half...so 1 1/2" wide. Rounded the corners and punched a hole in them...then Stuck them in a laminator pouch and laminated them! Then used a slightly smaller hole punch and punched the plastic covering the hole. Tied on some colorful bakers twine... And started reading! Adorable! Laminating keeps that cute washi tape in place permanently! Of course you could do it with just washi tape and paper too!
