I got this mini recliner at a yard sale and it's the perfect size for the 4 year old.
It was just stained and came from a home that had dogs...
and we are super allergic to dogs...
so we decided to recover it and start fresh!
It came with a seatbelt...and we decided to keep that!

Upon bringing it home, my husband set to work recovering the chair.

We had found a bunch of free upholstery at a fruit stand back in October,
and this gray chevron was the perfect fit!

He removed the old upholstery and took each section apart to recover it best.

He used the staple gun and wrapped the fabric around the chair like a present!
With Nacho Libre on in the background...
it made the project that much funner!

I helped with recovering the tufting brads...I just hot glued
our fabric over the old fabric buttons.

After the chair was covered, he tacked the back cushion in place!

Then reassembled the chair!

Perfect!

Too bright, but he loves it!
He loves being belted in for movie night!  :)

Linking up to THESE parties this week!
