I used the same Pink Puffy Paint as the last 2 days of projects!
And upcycle some old sparkling cider bottles.

Paint your desired word on the bottle...let dry completely.
(yes, I with the help of my sister-in-law and kids drank all that soda...
My sis-in-law got it free, so we indulged!)

Spray paint ligthly with Chalkboard paint!
Repeat after dry.  This way you will avoid drips, like I have here!
I used a chalkboard eraser and rubbed over the letters and bottle.
This isn't the greatest chalkboard writing surface,
but the matte paint and the dustiness looks cool.

  1. I've seen that done (the writing on bottles part) with a glue gun, but writing with puff paint sounds a million times easier than trying to do it with a glue gun :-) Thanks for sharing at The Fun In Functional!

  4. These turned out so cute! I can't wait to try this myself. I've got plenty of old bottles to try it on!
