These are so yummy and easy to make!
Let's get real.
Whenever I go to a potluck, party or event where I am bringing something to share, I want mine to be the best. I want everyone to ask me for the recipe. I don't want to have to bring home any leftovers...because if I do, I feel like no one liked it.
Isn't that strange, because if I really liked the food, I'd be glad for the leftovers, right!?
Well, I guess I wouldn't know with this recipe, because
there have never been leftovers. They are so good, they will fly off the plate!
At the last party I brought these to, one guy picked up 5 at a time!
1/2 cup soft butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 1/4 cup flour
1 tablespoon milk
1 tablespoon vanilla
dash of salt
(minus 1/2 cup for topping!)
Makes about 50 balls.
After rolling them, give them about 10 minutes in the fridge to firm up.
Drop and roll each ball into the chocolate, use a spoon to remove and place back on the baking sheet.
Top with a little sprinkle of toffee bits.
It doesn't need anything on top, but it's so cute and it helps cover the imperfection of my dipping!
Repeat until all done.
They are so good!
Just look at them. Delightful!
Such a great variation on cookies!
