Thanks & Giving Serving Tray Decor

Let our lives be full of both
Thanks and Giving!
I have neglected Thanksgiving decor in the past and thought this year I would remedy that.
I really love Thanksgiving.  I love that for a moment, the world
is a little more grateful for what they have.
I had this silver plated tray.
Not real silver and in very poor condition.
I got this tiny jar of chalkboard paint in the Dollar Spot at Target...
and one jar was MORE than enough for this tray.
Just brushed on one thin layer and let it dry completely.
 Then repeated 2 more times.
(Still have half the jar of paint left!)
Even the pattern embossing looks much better now!
Then I just sketched out my thought in chalk...
Then then used a Chalk Marker (also known as wet markers) over the chalk.
Adding thicker lines on the down strokes...
And then outlining it with some harvest colors.
 I love it!
It serves as a good reminder of what life is all about!
I am so glad I didn't throw out this tray!
Think of all the fun holiday and seasonal signs I can use this for!
