Crispy Cream Cheese and Green Onion Wontons!

Great appetizer and perfect snack food!

Wonton wrappers
green onions
cream cheese
Soften the cream cheese (I used half the block or 4 oz.)
3 green onions chopped up in the cream cheese

Stir up together.
Take a wonton wrapper.
Put a small blob of cream cheese in the center.
Use a finger and some water and wet along the edges.

Pull up all for corners to the center.

Pinch the sides together to make a four point star.

(There are many ways to fold wontons, but this one is my fave.)

Repeat until you are out of cream cheese mixture.

Fill the bottom of a fry pan with oil and heat it up.
Put a few wontons in the pan at a time.  Be careful, they cook fast.
I put them bottom down first, then flip them on each side, browning all edges.

Remove from oil and put on paper towel or plate to drain.

Super fast appetizer that will have everyone craving more!
Enjoy your creamy wontons!

They are great dipped in sweet and sour sauce too!
