Homemade Tootsie Rolls and Edible Clay!

 2 Tbsp Butter
3 TBSP Cocoa Powder
(melt together)
Add:
4 C. Powdered Sugar
1 C. Corn Syrup
1 C. Powdered Milk

Mix 1 cup of powdered sugar in at a time

Sprinkle powdered sugar on surface
Roll out tootsie rolls on the sugar...knead in more as needed.
Refrigerate for 20 minutes,
Then roll out and cut into pieces.

Store in air tight container or wrap up!

Melt the butter...mix the cocoa

 Mix in dry ingredients

Once it was pretty clumpy, we decide to let the machine handle the mixing...
It makes a very sticky dough!
When it becomes difficult to mix in the machine...

Dump it out on a powdered sugar surface...

Knead in any remaining powdered sugar...

It's still sticky and sweet...roll into logs, cut into pieces.

I wrapped some in freezer paper, wax paper would work too!

cute and delicious!
The kids had fun playing with it like clay!

Linking up to THESE parties this week!
