I'm not really a gift giver, but I talk big, I like gifting things in theory.

I always feel like I have to justify my gifts...like "I didn't spend any money on it" or "it was a really good deal" or "it's totally a re-gift!"

Lol. Why do I feel this way?

I love making big gift tags and slews of handmade gifts...and then some years...I quietly pack them away or send them to a donation center because I didn't get around to giving them away.

It's weird.

Do any of you get that holiday gift giving anxiety/pressure?

I've started bringing a bunch of handmade or customized items, some craft supplies and tools--plus a big tray of goodies to family parties and then letting everyone pick what they want.

I think it satisfies my giving and then I don't have to makes excuses to the recipient...they can pick what they like, and if they don't want a handmade thing, at least they'll take a treat or two!

Tombow is always a great gift idea--they've got the perfect Tombow Gift Guide too!

They have so many awesome products that I love.

Anything from Tombow is the kind of gift that I would like!

Dual Brush Pens are the best...but everyone needs adhesives, pens, or their awesome glue.

Tombow sent me a fun package of supplies to play with this month!

It came with this 6 piece Dual Brush Pen set called Wonderland.

It's a fun combo of blues, aquas and greens.

Numbers: N95, 291, 373, 569, 228, and 249.

If you've been around checking out other posts on Doodlecraft more than once, you'll know I am a complete sucker for aqua.

I just simply absolutely love it--always have!

When I was little, all our crayons were dumped into a gallon size ice cream bucket with a lid.

I would hunt through that bucket every time I colored (incidentally I hate crayons now---ugh the smell too) to find the short little piece of turquoise that was left.

So in my opinion, absolutely anything aqua would totally make a great gift.

I used Dual Brush Pen 373 for the lettering and the N95 for the right side shadow.

It's a faint watercolor wash finish, just like a blizzard on a cold Winter morning.

Next, use the paper cutter to cut the watercolor paper down to tag size pieces.

My tags are 3.5 by 5 inches.

Step 2: Hand Lettering

Now use any of the Dual Brush Pens Wonderland collection to write a little something on each tag.

I picked something very generic, so that the recipient information could go on the back side of the tag and the top would just look gorgeous instead of screaming who it's for.

Do you do that too?

I don't like my kids thinking about the gifts they are getting...I want them to focus on giving.

I wrote Winter Wishes in 373 on one tag.

On the other I wrote Wonder Land in 569.

To finish off the tags, just punch a couple holes in them and tie them to a gift.

I love kraft paper wrapping, tied in twine, with a big gift tag.
