Caramel Corn Pops Recipe

These are a fun treat that I made with my mom when I was growing up.  This was one of (if not) the first thing I made without my mother's supervision.  They are sweet and crunchy--perfect appetizer or treat for a party.
Ingredients:
1/2 Cup Butter
1 Cup Brown Sugar
1/2 Cup Corn Syrup
1 teaspoon Baking Soda
4 Cups Corn Pops
Corn Pops are made of cornmeal and are pretty bland on their own.  They need butter and sugar.
Mix the butter, sugar and syrup in saucepan.  Cook until bubbly around the edges, but not a full boil.  Then remove from heat and add the baking soda.  Stir in well.
Put the corn pops in a bowl and pour the sugar mixture over the top of them.
Stir them in so each pop is coated.
Then place the pops on a baking sheet and bake in the oven at 250* for 45 minutes, stirring every ten minutes.
Let them cool and enjoy!  They are much better than caramel popcorn because nothing gets stuck in your teeth!  They are crispy and delightful!
