I love Clarice, Rudolph's girlfriend from the old Rudolph Movie.
This year I decided to make her cute bow!
Maybe because I already had the Red and White Polka Dot material!
Here's how I did it.  It took about 8 minutes.
First, find the fabric.  I got this at a yard sale.
I took a piece.  I wasn't sure how much I needed so I
cut off the bottom 4.5" of the fabric.
It was 15 inches wide.
I folded the right sides together and sewed a quick line
down the side...forming a skinny tube.
(you could just hot glue this...then it would be a no-sew deal)
Turn the tube right side out.
Now I cut it to 9.5".
Putting the sewed seam right down the center of the backside.
Then I folded the sides into the center

Just a dot of hot glue on either flap to hold them right in the center.
Now pinch it in the center of the back...starting to look like a bow!
Pinch in the center of the top to make cute and symmetrical darts.
Okay freeze!
We need to prep the center strip.
Take a strip...about 2 inches by 4"
(yes, mine is bigger...but it gets cut down)

Bust out the hot glue (if you haven't already)
Fold over 1/3 of the strip into the center.
Hot glue in place.

Hot glue the other side down.
The top should look great, with no seams.
Lay that face down on the table.

Set your pinched bow right on top of the strip.

Wrap the center piece around to the back of the bow and hot glue in place.
Trim the excess material.
Check the topside...looks great!

Add a hair clip.

And a cute little girl!
Way fun!  Great little gift topper too!

So darling! And I've also been wanting to make some little bow ties for my boys. This would work and be a sinch.
