This is such a fun project to do with kids...or by yourself!
Shattered Marbles!

First, find your marbles!
I seriously lost my took me 30 minutes to find them!
Wish I could say the same about my memory...

You should only use the marbles that are clear glass...
not the opaque white or black ones...
We put them in a pyrex dish and baked them for 20 minutes in a 400* oven.
As soon as we removed them, the kids scooped them
carefully and put it in a pan of ice water!
 You can hear them sizzle!
We drained the ice water to gaze upon the shattered glass...
Held in the light they are spectacular!

Be careful, we did have one completely break...
They look awesome!
Stay tuned for projects using these marbles!

Linking up to THESE parties this week!

Are they still smooth on the outside or will you cut your fingers?
