Hairpin Leg Bench: Simple Build DIY
Summer time is our favorite time.  We have a fun patio and love to eat dinner outdoors.  The best thing to do to make the outdoors more inviting is to have some fun seating.  We have seating all over the yard and enjoy all of it at different times of the day...based on which one is in the shade.  This bench is exactly what we needed for a little place to sit in the late afternoon.
Easy to build bench made by teenage girl just need hairpin legs, drill, bit and screws...plus a chunky board.
This is an easy build and can be made in 15 minutes...by my teenage daughter, no less!  It's a great project for beginners learning to use a drill.

You will need:
Chunky sturdy board in desired size
4 hairpin legs (affiliate link)

12 Screws, Drill, Drill bit
Our board was just scrap in the garage and is pretty rough.  It's fine for a garden bench, and actually everyone seems to like it.  Turn it upside down.
Use a drill and screw in the legs about an inch from each edge.
Screw in all the legs and repeat for the other side of the bench.
That's it!  Now just stand up the bench and it is ready to use!  Seriously, once you have the supplies, it takes just a few minutes to make!
Perfect for the garden or filled with flowers!
