DIY: Apothecary Potion Jars!

Decorative Potion Apothecary Jars and Bottles! This is such a fun way to upcycle some old jars! Great for a spooky tablescape, party favors, Halloween decor or just for a fun old time apothecary! They were a hit at our Harry Potter Party! You will need an array of different jars with lids Plaid Cap assortment Gold spray paint Hot glue/gun Play around with your jars and the wood caps...and see which ones you like best. Then hot glue them right onto the center of the lid. Remove the lid from the jar. Place on a piece of cardboard and spray paint them all one color. I went with gold. Once dry, place them back on the jars! Perfection!  These would be so cute filled with candy, treats, toys or slime! Easy way to decorate! You can add some fun labels too! (I've got a free printable at this post) This post published on Doodlecraft first

DIY Felix Felicis Liquid Luck Necklace! Harry Potter Week!

DIY Felix Felicis Liquid Luck Necklace!   Harry Potter Week! That's right, it's Harry Potter week on my blog! Lots of fun wizard and witch crafts and DIY every day, with an extravagant party on Friday! I wanted to do the Felix Felicis as a necklace. They sent these to me at no cost for this tutorial! They are perfect!    I used some Liquid Leaf ...it's like Liquid Luck for Muggles. It is amazing...but can separate, so there are some color inconsistencies in the potion vials. It is not water based. I also used a syrin...

Potions and Poisons!

Potions and Poisons! These are fun to make and are great decorations for all of October!  We started by collecting a bunch of cool bottles. Some with corks, some with screw on lids...blues and clears. Then printed off these cool labels I designed onto parchment. Right click to save off, personal use only. Then cut them out and taped them onto the jars. We did every jar a little different. Some had colored water...others we made into Glitter Jars ...and one was filled with Slime! Here's some more blank labels...I used this one for address labels on our invites! Right click to save...personal use, please!   This post published on Doodlecraft first
